IMPORTANT NEWS

Although WHO has raised the level of influenza pandemic alert from phase 5 to phase 6, to date, there is NO travel restriction against Macau. The city, as well as travelling by visitors, remain normal. The World Health Organization (WHO) also advises no restriction of regular travel.

To date, there is ONE imported case of human swine flu have been confirmed in Macau.

Macau has one of the world's most professional health care systems. The Macau SAR Government has already devised comprehensive strategies for containing the infection.

The 4th APSIC would take place as scheduled.

The Organizer of 4th APSIC remains on high alert and close communication with the Department of Health in Macau.
